My name is Rick McKown. This would be the place where, (in the third person, so it appears someone else wrote it) I list all my many accomplishments over the course of my illustrious music career. So, here goes; Rick has been a professional musician, composer, songwriter, music producer and music educator his entire adult life, which at this point, is a very long time. Many have heard his music, yet few know his name. Some have recorded his songs, and again, have no idea who he is. And yet, somehow, he has managed to earn what would probably be considered a fairly decent living. 

Rick is ruggedly handsome and is often told he bears a strong resemblance to actor Sam Elliott. He’s an elegant man who always enjoys a good cup of coffee. None of these things have any bearing on Rick’s music, but as long as we’re pretending that someone else wrote this, what the heck…
